This year’s conference will feature Barry Goldman, author of The Science of Negotiation.  He will share information about negotiation strategies, including recent research, and how those strategies effect decision making, even in mediation.  Our conference will also include a presentation by Rosalyn Bliss on childhood trauma, beginning with the trauma experience by children in low-conflict divorce situations and moving on to high conflict divorce and abuse situations.  Finally, Kent Weichmann will lead us in discussions concerning child support and parent coordination.  (Read full bios below).

MACM will be submitting the conference program and seeking approval for continuing education credits in advanced mediation training with both NASW and NBCC.  The State Court Administrative Office (SCAO) has already approved the conference as Advanced Mediation Training.
